Tomás Alonso, born in Vigo, Spain, completed a MA at the Royal College of Art in London. In 2006 he co-founded the design collective OKAYstudio with five other recent graduates from the RCA.
His work has been widely published and exhibited, from Aram Gallery or Whitechapel Gallery in London to exhibitions in Italy, Spain, France, Canada and Japan. His work is part of the permanent collection of the Design Museum in London. He has also received numerous international awards including the first prize in the Promosedia International Design Competition 2008 with his "chair No. 7".
Our coorporation with Tomás Alonso for VIENNA DESIGN WEEK 2011 resulted in a silver Tea Service.
2015 Tomás Alonso won the Swarovski Designer of the Future Award.
