OTTO PRUTSCHER
Vase, 1930s

Emanating from a slender calyx, Otto Prutscher drew this seemingly discreet jar with a sharp pencil. Only when accomplished in silver, metamorphosis takes place: the vase begins to dance, fills up with vibrating life. The tender outlines start moving, and colorful reflections flicker across the surface.
