Cutlery from the
early Biedermeier period
When Empress Elisabeth was residing at her summer palace on Corfu, the legendary Achilleieon, the table was laid with this cutlery. Its basic form is a variation on the "Wiener Wamperl", it derives its name from the prominent ridge along the handle that gives this pattern its unmistakeable appearance.
The Eselsrücken is a Biedermeier cutlery pattern with a convincingly balanced functional quality. One of the most popular models in our classic range!
