Painter, graphic artist and craftsman: Like Josef Hoffmann, Kolo Moser was greatly inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement in England, which first propagated the idea of the total work of art. He was the co-founder of both the Wiener Secession and the Wiener Werkstätte, for which he designed mostly furniture, lamps and fashion accessories.
At Gustav Mahler's request, Kolo Moser created a magnificent case, which Mahler gave to his wife Alma. Today, we reproduce this masterpiece after Moser's original design drawing.
