Cutlery / Vienna Classics
The Geigenkasten pattern, named after the violin shape of the handle, is one of our oldest table silverware patterns. Its form and functionality were already highly appreciated in the Baroque era.
In the 1970s the concept was revived by adopting the pattern to suit modern ways of dining. The classic pattern is a 'must' on every wedding gift list. It harmonises extremely well with all china services and offers a sufficiently large area to engrave coats-of-arms or monograms.
