KOLO MOSER
Sugar box, 1902

The story is handed down in the Mahler family: As a Christmas present for his young wife Alma, composer Gustav Mahler envisioned a silver box, adorned with corals and designed by  Kolo Moser. On Christmas Eve, it lay under the tree, a silver box in the shape of a love letter - the initials of Alma Maria Mahler and the date of handover on the envelope.
