Round handles with slender necks define this cutlery, which is called "Wiener Wamperl" (Viennese little belly) because of the slightly curved thumb rest. The Biedermeier era developed an ideal of practicality, which the Wiener Wamperl perfectly matched at the time and with which it can still serve today. Empress Elisabeth (Sisi) also appreciated the handsome simplicity of the Viennese Wamperl and chose it to decorate her "Kammermeierei" at Schönbrunn in 1895.
