Conical glass containers form a series of vases with openings set with silver rings and top pieces of silver. The top pieces in three variants are named Lily, Poppy, and Tulip and are striking stylisations of the beloved flowers. They’re available in various designs which, together with the various ornaments in the engravings of the glass vases, offer a number of possibilities for variation. The Swedish architect and designer trio Claesson Koivisto Rune was invited by Vienna Design Week 2010 to cooperate with Wiener Silber Manufactur. The elegant series of silver and glass vases is a nod to the exemplary Viennese design tradition.
