In search of new, creative approaches, Wiener Silber Manufactur invited the Industrial Design class of the University of Applied Arts Vienna to a competition. Among the numerous designs, JULEZ's project stood out for its refined and simple design, which most convincingly did justice to the materiality and aesthetic impact of Viennese silver. Starting from the idea of a design in the spirit of the Japanese folding art "origami", Austrian designer Julia Obermüller created square bowls with a fold.
