In addition to the vase series "Hearts", Ted Muehling created a spice bowl. He found the form for it in a large, tropical seed pod, which he had curved out of silver plate 1:1. The resulting oval bowl with its swinging rim not only has a special grace, but also nestles extremely comfortably in the hand. A small spice spoon, rolled from a sheet of silver, accompanies the bowl, which can be filled with salt, pepper, spices or the like.
