Fascinated by the forms that nature produces in infinite variety and with a special eye for their aesthetics, New York designer Ted Muehling creates his objects. Taking plants with long, soft leaves as his model - tulips, for example - Ted Muehling created a series of vases for the Wiener Silber Manufactur. Three leaves form a slender vessel, in the center of which a small sleeve opens for a flower, grasses or a twig. When grouped together, the vases form a graceful ballet in a toe dance. The leaf vases are hand-forged from one piece of silver sheet. The gentle marks of the hammer blow give the leaves vibrant life and emphasize their uniqueness. All vases are available separately.
