The bowl consists of 24 twisted silver spirals. In unison, they dance around a curved silver plate in such a way that their mirror image in the center multiplies into infinity. On the underside of the convex base, the spiral bands are mounted with hand-forged silver screws; on top, they are attached to a ring with silver rivets. Viennese designer Tino Valentinitsch found the inspiration for the unusual design in portraits of ladies in the Biedermeier era, whose hairstyles, and especially the stubble curls, fascinated him.
