A long, roughly worked board provides the breeding ground on which silver mushrooms grow. The various nature-orientated and natural-sized silver mushrooms serve as containers for spices, chutneys or other substances. For filling, the hats can be removed. Small magnets, embedded in the bottoms of the mushrooms, and an iron plate incorporated into the wood ensure good stability. The German fashion designer and artist Wolfgang Joop created a pictorial table decoration for the Wiener Silber Manufactur, which combines many aspects: The aesthetics between naturalism and stylization of the "Magic Mushrooms" are as much in the foreground as the play with the intoxicating, dangerous effects of some mushrooms.
