JOSEF HOFFMANN
Centerpiece

Josef Hoffmann
Designed in the 1930s

The centerpiece has the shape of a footed bowl with a base, nodus and conical dome. Radiating grooves and concentric circles cover the top with a finely chased spider web. After the end of the Wiener Werkstätte in 1932, Josef Hoffmann was ready to collaborate again and left a number of distinctive designs to the Wiener Silber Manufactur. Reissued after an original drawing in our archives.
